We do not ask for your address, or anything else. If you choose to sign in with your phone number, we receive that number — only to verify it is you. We never call it, never text it for marketing, and never share it.
Advertising is what keeps our reporting free to read. This site displays ads served by Google AdSense and its partners. These third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DART cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site. We keep your account data only for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal details are removed with it. Comments you chose to delete are removed immediately. Reading progress lives only on your device — clear your browser storage and it is gone.
Sign-in is handled by Google's authentication system — we never see or store your password. Access to our database is restricted, and comment data is governed by strict rules: the public can read comments, but only signed-in readers can post, and only you can edit or delete your own.
